PURPOSE:To prevent layering phenomenon of a sealed lead-acid battery. CONSTITUTION:A group of electrode 1 comprises one plate of a positive plate 2, two plates of negative plates 3 and A and a retainer 5 which intervenes between the positive plate 2 and the negative plates 3 and 4. The two plates of the negative plates 3 and 4 are arranged so as to face their electrodes to one side of faces of one plate of the positive plate 2 at different position vertically. Connecting terminal 3a out of respective connecting terminals 3a and 4a for the two plates of the negative plates 3 and 4 is formed at the upper part similar to a connecting terminal 2a for one plate of the positive plate 2. The other connecting terminal 4a out of these connecting terminals 3a and 4a is formed at the lower part. Each of respective connecting terminals 3a and 4a for two plates of negative plates 3 and 4 is connected each other. An amount of area of each of reacting faces of two plates of the negative plates 3 and 4 is set approximately equal to an area of a reacting face of one plate of the positive plate 2. |
