PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a take-up reel for adhesive tape or its rotary drive means, simplify the structure of a tape feeder and facilitate a setting practice of electronic component holding tapes, handling control accompanied by the replacement of the electronic component holding tapes and the post treatment of the adhesive tapes in particular. CONSTITUTION:There are installed a first tape guide 30 which separates an adhesive tape 4b by detouring the tape 4b from a main tape 4a downward in the upper stream side than a pick up position Q of an electronic component P by means of a transfer head 14 and a vibrator 18 to which this tape guide 30 is mounted. At the same time, there is installed a forward and backward transfer means 22 which transfers forward and backward this vibrator 18 along the bottom of an electronic holding tape 4, synchronizing with the pitch feed of the tape 4. Furthermore, there is installed a second tape guide 31 which guides this adhesive tape 4b to a sprocket 5 in order to stick the adhesive tape 4b which has detoured the first tape guide 30 with the bottom of the main tape 4a once again on the sprocket 5, thereby constituting a tape feeder. |
