PURPOSE:To easily confirm the reservation of a program and the information by reserving the program by a CATV home terminal and receiving and storing the information of the program from a center and displaying it on a television screen at the time of confirming the reservation. CONSTITUTION:In the case of receiving the reservation of the program by a remote control light reception part 85, a home terminal 10 processes the reserved number by a main CPU 82 and a sub-CPU 82 and modulates it in a PSK modulating part 56 to send it to a CATV center 13. Information corresponding to the reserved number from the center 13 is demodulated in a PSK demodulating part 55 and stored in a memory 71. When the confirmation number of the reserved number is received, information is read out from the memory 71 and displayed on a display part 87, and it is superposed on a picture by an on-screen synthesizing part 68 to output the on-screen display. Thus, the information of the reserved program is recognized only with the on-screen display picture, and confirmation is facilitated.
