<p>PURPOSE:To automatically test a reproduction mode with high reliability by comparing and discriminating a phase difference between a reference signal based on a regenerative video signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of reproduction modes are commanded to a VTR 2 by a remote controller 1 and controlled by a control part 3. The regenerative video signal of the VTR 2 is supplied to a horizontal synchronizing signal separating means 4 and a vertical synchronizing signal separating means 5. A horizontal synchronizing signal from the horizontal synchronizing signal separating means 4 is counted by a reference signal generating means 6 regarding a vertical synchronizing signal from the vertical synchronizing signal separating means 5 as a reference and the reference signal synchronizing with a horizontal signal newly is made and outputted to a discriminating means 7. The mode selection signals of a normal mode, a double speed mode, etc., are led to the discriminating means 7 from the control part 3 and the phase difference between the reference signal and the horizontal synchronizing signal is compared and a matter whether reproducing speed is normal or not is discriminated by a matter whether the phase difference is suited to the selected reproducing mode or not.</p> |
