PURPOSE:To obtain a stable laser light output with high efficiency, to simplify, to reduce in size a structure, and to decrease power consumption by temperature-controlling an exciting light source element and a laser resonator which receives an exciting light from the element by a temperature control element for solely controlling a temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature control of both wavelength control of a semiconductor laser element 11 such as a laser diode, etc., of an exciting light source element and stabilizing of an SHG laser resonator 20 is conducted by using an only temperature control element (TE cooler) 24. This temperature control is conducted to a predetermined target temperature by detecting a temperature of a nonlinear optical crystal element in the element 11 and the resonator 20 by a thermistor 25 of a temperature detector, and controlling heating, heat absorbing of the controller (TE cooler) 24 in response to the detected temperature. Accordingly, the number of components and a cost are reduced, and a controller including a circuit, etc., is simplified and reduced in size. |
