PURPOSE:To provide the receiver able to revise a notice method automatically and informing the reception of a signal to a carrier in an optimum operation to receive the signal. CONSTITUTION:The receiver consists of a signal reception means 4 receiving a radio signal and a key board 70 entered by a carrier, a state detection means 1 detecting the state of the receiver, a CPU 3 selecting one of plural notice modes based on the detection result by the state detection means 1 upon the receipt of a signal from the signal reception means 4 and commanding a notice operation set by the key board 70, and a notice means 2 informing a notice to the carrier by the command of the CPU 3.
