PURPOSE:To see that appropriate correspondence geared to the case where it is constituted such that the a display is backed up and the otherwise case can be done automatically to the occurrence of power stoppage. CONSTITUTION:A first uninterruptive power unit 4 for supplying a display 1 with operation power is provided with a changeover means 45, which changes over whether to perform the backup operation of a power source 5 or not based on the existence of power stoppage and the command signal from a computer 2, and a ready signal output means 46, which outputs a ready signal to show the existence of the first uninterruptive power unit 4. Furthermore, the computer part 2 is provided with a ready signal monitor means 23, which monitors the ready signal, and a means, which continues normal operation for a specified time from the occurrence of power stoppage at occurrence of power stoppage, in case that the ready signal is active, and then, outputs a signal to instruct the stoppage of the backup operation to the changeover means 45 of the first uninterruptive power unit 4, and, in case that the ready signal is inactive, stops the acceptance of the signal from an operation means 3. |
