PURPOSE:To provide an outline data processor capable of reducing necessary memory capacity by sharing the segment data of one or plural common outline segments to be shared to plural formats in each of many characters expressed by plural formats. CONSTITUTION:When an angular Gothic type is set up (S41:Yes), the specific outline segment data of the square Gothic type are read out of a parts font memory 22 and stored in a working memory 26 (S42), and when a round Gothic body is set up (S48:Yes), the specific outline segment data of the round Gothic type are read out of the memory 22 and stored in the memory 26 (S42). Respective coordinate data of the specific outline segment data in a relative coordinate system are converted into data in an absolute coordinate system (S44) and segment data developing processing is repeated only by the number of segments in the specific outline segment data. |
