PURPOSE:To provide a grid for a lead storage battery capable of increasing a corrosion speed of a grid surface at the time of aging than conventional one, and improving adhesive strength between the grid and active material. CONSTITUTION:A protruded surface of lead alloy powder 2, having electrode potential nobler compared with that of grid alloy forming a grid base body 1, is made to bite into a surface of the grid base body 1. The intrusion of lead alloy powder 2 into the surface of the grid body 1 causes a contact surface of both to be larger compared with that of a plane, consequently a reaction surface becomes larger, increasing a corrosion speed. |
