The invention relates to a screening and cleaning apparatus for granular products, including a means (1) for supplying the product, at least one vibrating screening grid (3a-3c), and at least one bucket (15d) for recovering the sorted products. The apparatus according to the invention is noteworthy in that it includes a cradle (2) in which is arranged the grid which is mounted between opposite faces of the cradle, called, respectively, front face (5) and rear face, the cradle having, under the said grid, a discharge chute (11b-11d) which extends partly in an inclined manner downwards from the rear face towards the front face, whilst the supply means is provided to permit the flow of the product over the said grid on the front side. <IMAGE>
