<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize an inexpensive flash memory for files by composing each sector of a logical address part, an erasure control part, a data part, an error detection data part, etc., and retrieving sectors with logical addresses. CONSTITUTION:The flash memory is controlled with the sectors 00-0n, and the sector 02 is provided with, for example, the logical address part 10, erasure control part 11, data part 12, and error detection data part 13. Then sector addresses (logical address) are provided, sector by sector, to access data with not physical addresses, but the sector addresses. When a rewrite instruction is transmitted, the erasure control bit of the control part 11 of the corresponding sector is turned ON to indicate that the data part 12 becomes ineffective, and new data for rewriting are entered into a free sector, whose logical address is set to the same logical address of the sector which is made ineffective.</p> |
