PURPOSE:To easily magnify a screen by providing a means for enlarging a screen display in a horizontal direction and a means for enlarging the screen display in a vertical direction by displaying the prescribed number of horizontal line by delayed signals. CONSTITUTION:A start pulse and signals PHI1 to PHI3 are the same in timing, when the B side of selectors 18, 19 are selected in a segment driver 10. Then, a signal QY0 and signal QY1, and a signal QY2 and signal QY3 attain the same values. An output signal Y0 and output signal Y1 and an output signal Y2 and output signal Y3, therefore, attain the same level after a specific signal HS is outputted. The screen is thus enlarged double in a horizontal direction. The enlargement in a vertical direction is executed by superposing and forming the signal delaying the signal HS to be supplied to a common driver to the original waveform by using a timing adjusting circuit without changing the common driver. The delayed signal HS is required to exist during horizontal blanking display. As a result, two pieces each of horizontal lines are displayed and the screen is enlarged double in the vertical direction. |
