PURPOSE:To minimize the noises of image signals and to obtain radiation images having good image quality in the method and device for superposition processing of the radiation images. CONSTITUTION:The two image signals S1, S2 carrying the radiation image information of the same subject are subjected to the weighting addition S=(N2<2>/(N1<2>+N2<2>))XS1+(N1<2>(N1<2>+N2<2>)XS2o when the noises of theses signals are designated as N1, N2, by which the added signal S is obtd. The sensitivities Sk1, Sk2 of the two image signals S1, S2 may be subjected to the weighting addition S=(Sk2/(Sk1+Sk2))XS1+(Sk1/(Sk1+Sk2))S2o. The obtaining of the sensitivities Sk1, Sk2 with each of picture elements is equality well and the obtaining of the sensitivities Sk1, Sk2 with each of picture elements by the out-of-focus signals of the image signals S1, S2 is also well. |
