PURPOSE:To realize a document processor which can execute an appropriate editing processing even in an editing object in which a graphic form and a character are mixed. CONSTITUTION:From handwriting coordinate data inputted from a display input integral type tablet 1, an editing symbol is recognized by an editing symbol recognizing device 5, and also, an editing object corresponding to its editing symbol is specified by an editing object specifying means. Thereafter, with regard to the editing object specified by its editing object specifying means, an editing processing corresponding the editing symbol is executed. Also, in its editing object specifying means, an editing object area corresponding to its editing symbol is specified by an editing object/editing kind deciding device 8, and whether a graphic form is included in its editing object area or not is decided by an in-editing range graphic deciding device 7. Subsequently, based on the result of its decision, in the case it is decided that the graphic form is included, a character or a graphic form having the editing symbol or position relation information included in the editing object area becomes an editing object, and in the case it is decided that the graphic form is not included, the character included in the editing object area becomes a series of character sets and is specified as an editing object. |
