PURPOSE:To provide the electronic dictionary which can allow a new keyword to correspond to corresponding information in the dictionary, and can retrieve the corresponding information in the dictionary by this new keyword. CONSTITUTION:Even in the case a retrieval instruction of a keyword registered by a keyword registering means (CPU) 6 is executed from an input means (keyboard) 2, a retrieving means (CPU) 6 retrieves a registered keyword and corresponding information allowed to correspond to the keyboard concerned from a contrast dictionary of a dictionary store means (RAM) 5, based on a retrieval instructing signal, and a display means (indicator) 3 displays its retrieved keyword and corresponding information. |
