PURPOSE:To realize quick transfer of an electronic mail by detecting a similar destination and using it as a correct destination when a destination table is retrieved and a destination coincident with a destination of an inputted electronic mail cannot be found out. CONSTITUTION:A destination extract section 1 extracts a destination of an electronic mail received by a reception action 5 and a comparator section compares the destination with destination information in a destination table 2 storing destinations of electronic mails. As a result, when the extracted destination is not coincident with the destination information in the destination table 2, a transmission section 6 sends the mail to a computer of the destination. When dissident, a correction section 4 corrects the destination into a destination closest to the destination of the electronic mail received in the destination information in the destination table 2, that is, the destination expected to be correct in the received electronic mail and the mail is sent to the computer of the corrected destination. When plural destinations expected to be correct are in existence, the correction section 4 does not make correction and the destination list expected correct is sent back to a sender.
