The received TV signal (1) is entered into a video signal memory (2) synchronised by a phase locked loop (3). A second PLL (4) is used for read out control. The tube has two sets of coils, the main one receiving inputs from a horizontal deflection signal generator (7) and the other from a vertical signal generator (11).The auxiliary deflection coil unit (14, 15) is supplied from separate generators (15, 20) coupled to correction stages (16, 19). The currents (IVK, IHK) provide a correcting action.
