A wheel with a rim and dish whose diameter, width, shape and arrangement fit into different vehicles has at least one opening (3, 7, 15) in the flange or fastening area (2) of the wheel through which wheel fasteners that match the most different hole circles can be introduced, independently from the type of hole circle. An adapter ring (5) centered in the wheel (1) is provided with at least one fixed hole circle (6) that allows the wheel (1) to be secured to a vehicle by means of wheel bolts or nuts (4). Wheel type constraints are thus eliminated and a practically universal wheel is created, into which only a corresponding piece needs to be inserted for matching with and fitting into different vehicles.
