Salts of compounds of formula where n is an integer from 2 to 9; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are H or alkyl (1-6C); with a pyrimidine-2-sulphonic, 2-hydroxy-pyrimidine-5-sulphonic, 3,4-camphopyrazolone-p-phenylsulphonic, benzimidazole-2-sulphonic or 5-chloro-benzimidazole-2-sulphonic acid. Antiviral agents for oral, rectal or topical application. Daily dose for adults 5 to 200 mg. By reaction of the diamine with the appropriate acid in water or methanol (salts of the diamine and acid also).
