Waterproofing agents (I) are claimed, with crosslinkable, OH gp.-contg. halogen copolymers (II) which are crosslinked with polyisocyanate (III). (III) consists at least partly of aromatic of pseudo-aromatic polyisocyanate. (III) is a poly(thio)isocyanate, pref. at least partly halogenated, and pref. contg. tri-isocyanate, at least proportionally. USE/ADVANTAGE - For waterproofing the nozzle orifice with devices for expelling liquids, esp. in a printer head (claimed). The action of (I) is to prevent corrosion and to ensure that the ink is expressed in the form of separate drops (esp. in bubble jet printers). (I) always has a reliable, durable waterproofing action irrespective of the surface configuration of the nozzle, with the max. stability w.r.t. external, esp. mechanical effects. (I) is easily handled and its high surface quality eliminates the need to polish the nozzle. A layer of (I) can be wiped up to 2000,000 times without noticeable wear or loss of waterproofing effect.
