<p>Flue gas cleaning waste (GCW), rich in lime, is mixed with a product containing at least 60 % of silica and/or alumina to bring the pH to a value of between 7 and 11.5 and with a quantity of water of between 15 % and 160 % of the weight of waste and of the said product. In practice the ratio of SiO2 and/or Al2O3 to CaO must be at least 0.8. Solid compositions which are practically insoluble in water and nonpolluting are obtained.</p> |
