Verfahren zur Herstellung von Propylen-Ethylen-Copolymerisaten durch zweistufige Polymerisation aus der Gasphase heraus in einem bewegten Festbett, mittels eines Ziegler-Natta-Katalysatorsystems, das neben einer titanhaltigen Feststoffkomponente noch als Cokatalysator eine Aluminiumverbindung enthält, wobei man als Ziegler-Natta-Katalysatorsystem ein solches verwendet, das im Anschluß an die Umsetzung der titanhaltigen Feststoffkomponente mit dem Cokatalysator durch Reaktion mit Kohlendioxid inaktiviert wird.
