<p>A ground anchor comprises an anchor tube (21) open at an in situ upper end and having an in situ lower earth penetrating end (22). An anchoring tine (33) is pivoted to the exterior of the anchor tube (21) above its lower end (22). The anchoring tine (33) is rotatable about pin (34) between an earth penetrating position (dotted line) in which it lies substantially parallel to, and partially within, the anchor tube (21), and an anchoring position (solid line) wherein it is locked in a laterally-extending position relative to the anchor tube (21), e.g. by an anchor block (50). <IMAGE></p> |
