PURPOSE:To obtain the title detergent which can clean and remove fur from the coated surface of a vehicle such as an automobile without impairing the coated surface by incorporating specific amounts of a surface active agent, sequestering agent and NH3 or water-soluble amine in an aqueous medium and adjusting the pH to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by dissolving 0.001-10wt.% surface active agent [e.g. polyoxyethylene(10)nonyl phenol], 0.1-20wt.% sequestering agent (e.g. ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) and 0.1-20wt.% NH3 or water-soluble amine (e.g. monoethanolamine) in an aqueous medium (e.g. water) and adjusting the pH to 7.5-12.5. |
