摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve volumetric efficiency and sealing property by moving leaked gas existing in a compression chamber to other compression chambers by successively connecting a part of a leaked gas catching groove to a suction port of the compression chamber partitioned with a piston according to the rotation of a rotary valve. CONSTITUTION:In a rocking swash plate type compressor, rotary motion of a rotary shaft 4 is converted to forward and backward reciprocating rocking motion of a rocking swash plate 9 through a rotary holder 5 and a rotary driver 6. Thus, pistons 10A move backwards and forwards in cylinder bores 1a. In this case, a rotary valve 14 is contained in respective containing recesses 1b and 3b of a cylinder block 1 and a rear housing 3. In addition, a suction passage 17 is formed in the rotary valve 14, and its inlet is connected to an introducing port 3c, and its outlet to a suction port 1c, respectively. Furthermore, a leaked gas catching groove 18 consisting of a discharge groove 18a and a pick-up groove 18b is formed on a peripheral surface of the rotary valve 14. And, with the rotation of the rotary valve 14, a part of the discharge groove 18a is connected to the suction port 1c successively.</p>
