<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a head-speed measuring apparatus for a golf club, which detects the locus of the club head in swing and displays the approximage locus. CONSTITUTION:The maximum value of the voltage levels of induced electromotive forces V1-V4 generated in sensor coils 12-15 is detected with a peak detector. The detected voltage values PV1-PV4 are compared in an operating part. The approximate angle of the passing locus of a club head 3a with respect to a horizontal plane is detected. The detected result is displayed on a display device 11 through a display control part. When the flying distance of a ball does not extend even if the speed at a certain degree is detected as the head speed, the incident angle of the club head 3a with respect to the ball can be grasped, and the good or bad state of own swing can be judged by the player himself or herself.</p> |
