PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component parts of the titled device and contrive reductions in size and weight, by a construction wherein a support member is turned with a through-hole provided in a machine frame as a fulcrum, and the support member is depressed downward directly by a paper pressing releasing lever. CONSTITUTION:A printing paper 10 is inserted through an inserting part 12c, and is wound around a platen 1. When the paper 10 is wound in a distorted state, the paper pressing releasing lever 6 is rotated in the direction of an arrow A, whereby a pressure part 13d is pushed by a cam part 6b, and is turned in the direction of an arrow B. With the support member 13 turned, a paper- pressing roller 11 is depressed downward in the vertical direction through a guide member 12, and the paper clamped between the platen 1 and the roller 11 is released, whereby the distortion of the paper can be corrected. Accordingly, since the support member 13 is pushed directly by the lever 6, there is no need for a pair of holding members for clamping the roller 11 or a crank-type shaft member for releasing the paper. |
