PURPOSE:To provide cotton yarn having a good level dyeing property, a high dyeing concentration, a soft touch and a tensional touch. CONSTITUTION:Modified cotton yarn is characterized by containing cotton fibers having cellulose I, cellulose II and cellulose III type crystal structures in a content order of cellulose III > cellulose I > cellulose II, the cellulose occupying >=40% of crystals, and a method for producing the cotton yarn. |
