PURPOSE:To provide a laser processing torch by which improvement in yield and stability in quality are attained by stabilizing the flow of an assisting gas blowing coaxially as the laser beam with which a workpiece is irradiated. CONSTITUTION:At about the same height as the inlet 6B of the assisting gas in the processing torch 6, an inner cylinder 12 with a larger diameter than the laser beam is provided concentrically with the outer wall of the processing torch 6 and the optical axis; and a wire net 13 is placed on the gas outlet 12A of the inner cylinder 12. Then, on the inner wall of the cylinder 12 inside the processing torch, flow straightening plates 14 that are extended parallelly with the optical axis are laid so that a swirling flow is not contained in the flow of the assisting gas blown out of the tip end of the processing torch 6. Consequently, the generation of processing directionality in cutting is prevented, and the processing torch for a laser beam machine, by which the processing yield is improved and the quality is stabilized, is obtained. |
