<p>PURPOSE:To carry out connection accurately and promptly without causing connection error by using a pipe joint consisting of a pair of pipe joint semi- bodies for connecting the end parts of pipes by engaging an engaging recessed part with an engaging protruded part. CONSTITUTION:An engaging recessed part 3 and an engaging protruded part 2 are provided on a pipe joint semi-body 1, while sealing parts 32, 32 are provided on the opposed end surfaces of the pipe joint semi-bodies 1, 1, and the engagement structure of the pipe joint semi-bodies 1, 1 is formed in the same manner so that the engaging protruded part 2 of the pipe joint semi-body 1 is engaged with the engaging recessed part 3 of the other pipe joint semi-body 1.</p> |
