<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeding device which can surely feed paper without shifting the timing at which paper feeding is started. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding cassette 1 is in the form of a box in which a number of sheets of paper Y are stacked. A rotary shaft 5 is rotatably supported inside a device frame in such a manner as to extend in the direction perpendicular to the direction of paper transfer on the upper side of the paper- feeding side portion of the paper feeding cassette 1. A pair of paper feeding rollers 6 are integrally rotatably supported to the rotary shaft 5. A brush 10 serving as a cleaning member is supported to the device frame in such a manner as to make contact with the outer peripheral surface 6a of each of the paper feeding rollers 6. When the rotary shaft 5 is rotated to start feeding the sheets of paper Y, the paper feeding rollers 6 pick up the sheets of paper Y and the brush 10 removes paper dust, etc., which attaches to the outer peripheral surface 6a of each of the paper feeding rollers 6.</p> |
