PURPOSE:To detect an extremely weak Korotkov sound which can not be mea sured before by providing a flexibility accelerating means to a diaphragm and make the diaphragm easy to flex, and improving the sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The diaphragm 5 is brought into contact with an arm and then a piezoelectric element 6 is strained by the oscillation of the Korotkov sound, etc., to generate potentials on its top and reverse surfaces. A core 9a is soldered to the top surface of the element 6 and the reverse surface and the top surface of the diaphragm 5 contact each other through fine projections on those surfaces to maintain an electric connection. Further, metallic particles are dispersed in the diaphragm 5, so the diaphragm is conductive to connect a shield wire 9b to the reverse surface of the element 6 electrically, and the potential generated in the element is led out of a sensor through a lead wire 9, thereby detecting the oscillation. Then, the element 6 is made of a material obtained by mixing ferroelectric particulates with rubber, etc., and the dia phragm 5 is made of a flexible material; the element is soft and easy to flex, so even fine oscillation is detected and blood pressure is easily measured even when the Korotokoff's sound is weak. |
