PURPOSE:To perform measurement which is less in miscounting by transmitting inputted analog signals to one system selected out of a plurality of measuring systems and, when the signals are received during the dead time of the selected system, to a nonoperating measuring system by automatically selecting the nonoperating system. CONSTITUTION:A signal S1 detected by means of a radiation detector 1 and amplified by a preamplifier 2 is supplied to a switching device 6. The device 6 checks whether or not dead time occurs while a first measuring system 7 operates and, when no dead time occurs, outputs a signal S2 to a first linear amplifier 3. When the dead time occurs, the device 6 outputs a signal S3 to a second linear amplifier 8 in a second measuring system 10. The signals S2 and S3 are respectively digitized by means of a first and second A/D converters 4 and 9 and supplied to a memory circuit 5 as signals S6 and S7. While the signals S6 and S7 are outputted, it is discriminated that the first and second measuring systems 7 and 10 are in dead time and signals S4 and S5 are outputted to the device 6. Since the amplification degrees of the amplifiers 3 and 8 and converters 4 and 9 are adjusted to the same in advance, the same data can be always obtained even when the measuring systems are switched. |
