PURPOSE:To prevent a lining Hume pipe from being peeled off by a method wherein a synthetic resin pipe is integrally stuck fast to an inner peripheral surface of the Hume pipe and end surface of the pipe while weight reduction of the Hume pipe is aimed at. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical collar 2 is installed to one end part of a Hume pipe 1, and a socket 11 is formed by the collar 2 projected from an end part of the pipe. Besides, a spiggot of a slightly less diameter than an inner diameter of the socket 11 is provided to the other end part. After preheating the Hume pipe 1 at specific temperature, a synthetic resin pipe 3 is inserted into the pipe 1. After softening the synthetic resin pipe 3 by heating, it is expanded so as to stick to fast to the inner peripheral surface of the Hume pipe 1. A heated expanding mould 6 and a heated pressing mould are successively forced to an end part of the synthetic resin pipe 3 projected from a pipe end face of the socket 11 to be stuck fast to the pipe end face of the Hume pipe 1. Therefore, the synthetic resin pipe 3 is tightly stuck fast to the inner peripheral surface of the Hume pipe 1 and the end face of the pipe, and not peeled off therefrom. Since this lined Hume pipe is light in weight, pipe laying at the job site can be easily executed. |
