PURPOSE:To obtain a durable packing supporting member by a method wherein four faces are formed continuously from the respective four faces of a supporting member for supporting an object such as globe, a second supporting member is formed continuously from one such a face and a reinforcing member is formed continuously from the other face. CONSTITUTION:A corrugated cardboard-made supporting member 2 for use in supporting the lower part of a light transmitting globe for enclosing a light circuit-containing, compact fluorescent lamp upon packing a box-like case therewith is composed of a globe supporting face (a) serving as a supporting member, a base supporting face a7 serving as a second supporting member and reinforcing faces a5 and a6. The globe supporting part (a) consists of a nearly square face having four sides a1-a4 and nearly square faces a11-a41 are formed continuously therefrom, respectively. The reinforcing faces a5 and a6 are formed continuously between the faces a21, a31 and a31, a41, respectively, and the base supporting face a7 is formed continuously from one side a111 of the face a11. |
