THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material enhanced in sensitivity (thermal response) and excellent in image preservability while improving the discoloration of a background due to light and the background fog due to heat. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer consists of an aromatic isocyanate compound, an imino compound having at least one >C=NH group developing a color upon the reaction with the isocyanate compd. at the time of heating, a fluorane dye represented by general formula 1 and a phenol compd. represented by general formula 2. A thermal recording material having said recording layer is suppressed in the background discoloration due to light, reduced in the background fog due to heat and enhanced in thermal response and shows excellent image preservability.
