TESTING METHOD FOR SHELF MOUNTING PACKAGE AND CONNECTOR THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To obtain the testing method and connector performing an activation test of a package in an open state in a circuit device wherein a package constituted as a circuit is parallelly arranged from the front surface of the shelf of a housing and inserted in the connector of the backboard of the rear surface of the shelf to form circuit connection and capable of corresponding to an increase in the frequency and speed of a circuit and made usable in common. CONSTITUTION:The connector 3 of the backboard 2 of the rear surface of a shelf 1 is a through type double-side fitting connector and the connector A31 fitted and connected on the rear side of the connector 3 and the connector B32 fitted and connected to the connector 33 of a package 5 are provided to both ends back to back. A testing connector 6 equipped with a means mutually connecting terminals at the shortest distance is used and fitted and fixed to the connector 3 at the predetermined position of the backboard 2 from the rear side thereof and the package 5 is connected to the connector 6 using a plug to enable an activation test.
