<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the dropping and ejecting of a quenching medium used in previous hardening from a high-frequency heating coil to a circular cylindrical work and the consequent generation of unequal heating at the time of post- heating in the case of repetitive execution of the hardening of the circular cylindrical work by using the high-frequency heating coil in common use as a cooling jacket. CONSTITUTION:The quenching medium is introduced into the high-frequency heating coil 10 and after this quenching medium is blown to the outside surface of the circular cylindrical work 40, compressed air is introduced into the high-frequency heating coil 10. The quenching medium remaining in the high-frequency heating coil 10 is discharged from nozzle holes 11 and there is no possibility that the quenching medium drops or spouts from the high-frequency heating coil 10 in the next hardening.</p> |
