PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive film having a stable electrical resistivity and a small voltage dependence by producing a composite material from a conductive powder and a powder of an organic high polymer and forming the material into a film having a surface resistivity and a volume resistivity each in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A conductive film formed from a composite material obtained from a mixture of a conductive powder and a powder of an organic high polymer. It has a surface resistivity of 10<6>-10<17>OMEGA/square and a volume resistivity of 10<6>-10<17>OMEGA.cm. Examples of devices for producing the composite material from the mixture include a hybridization system. A suitable surface modification device which has been modified is also usable. A preferred method for forming the composite material into a film comprises introducing the material into an extruder having a circular die, extruding the melt into a tube from the die, feeding a gas, e.g. air, into the tube to expand it to a given diameter, and cooling the resulting tube. |
