PURPOSE:To provide a rubber composition having excellent heat-resistance, cold-resistance and oil-resistance and composed of a polymer component containing a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a specific Mooney viscosity and an organopolysiloxane, a polybasic acrylic acid ester, a filler and a peroxide cross-linking agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective rubber composition having improved mutual dispersibility of a silicone rubber and a hydrogenated nitrile rubber and giving a crosslinked rubber having improved mechanical properties, heat-resistance, cold-resistance and oil-resistance can be produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polymer component consisting of 98-2wt.% of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a Mooney viscosity of <=70 and 2-98wt.% of an organopolysiloxane with (B) 0.2-10 pts.wt. of a compound such as a (poly)ester or (poly)amide having plural unsaturated C-C bonds and derived from a polyhydric alcohol or a polyvalent amine and (meth)acrylic acid, an alkoxysilane having unsaturated bond, NH2, SH, etc., and triallyl isocyanurate, (C) 0-200 pts.wt. of a filler and (D) 0.2-10 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent consisting of a peroxide. |
