PURPOSE:To provide a distinct and clear image display by interpolating and displaying a color part of the front and the rear frames by shifting the timing for transmitting and receiving a color scanning line at every frame. CONSTITUTION:To a scanning circuit 12 for scanning a probe 10, a tomographic image display device receiving part 14 and a color Doppler display device detecting part 16 are connected, and based on a reference signal generated from a reference signal generator 19, a tomographic image and a color image are formed. Also, when the information by which a color display is executed is detected by the color Doppler display device detecting part 16, a frequency is analyzed by comparing it with the reference signal by a frequency analyzer 18, and a color at the time of executing a color display is set. In this case, a control part 26 for controlling the scanning circuit 12 is provided, and this control part 26 is constituted so that each interval position of a color scanning line can be shifted by controlling a color scanning line interval control part 28 by a shift control part 29 and controlling indirectly the scanning circuit 12. |
