PURPOSE:To provide a high sensitivity thermosensitive recording sheet by reducing the particle size of a developer by means of a chemical process. CONSTITUTION:In a thermosensitive recording sheet, a thermosensitive layer containing at least an electron donating dye precursor and an electron accepting compound is placed on a substrate. A solution, in which the electron accepting compound is dissolved in an organic solvent, is dispersed in water. A coating liquid containing an aqueous suspension produced by removing the organic solvent from the mixture is applied on the substrate to prepare the thermosensitive recording sheet. |
