<p>PURPOSE:To effect the reaction efficiently in a shortened time and miniaturize the subject unit with lowered costs by introducing ozone into the gas stream containing a hydrogenation gas and irradiating the stream with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:Ozone is introduced into the gas stream containing a hydrogenation gas and the gaseous mixture is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to remove the hydrogenation gas. This hydrogenation gas removing unit comprises an ozone generator 3 in the path 1 for the hydrogenation gas by a gas stream generator 2, a gas mixer 4, an ultraviolet irradiator 5 and a reaction product collector 6.</p> |
