PURPOSE: To approximate the cost effective assembly of parts of a large and heavy roof unit to allowance. CONSTITUTION: A free fixing device 100 consists of a first framework 102 and second framework 104 which are both held along a line 3-3 by means of removable bolts 106. The respective frameworks 102 and 104 are provided with bases. These bases are manufactured from base members 108 and framework legs 110 for securely mounting the bases on a floor or another working surfaces. Consequently, various assembly operations may be carried out. The respective frameworks 102 and 104 are manufacture of the geometric constitution capable of withstanding the weight of the cyclone roof and the temperature of stress relief operation. The base members 108 are manufactured from metallic I beams.
