BOILING WATER TYPE NUCLEAR REACTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain a 'nuclear reactor gentle for men' by improving maintenance and operability to reduce burden on periodical inspection workers and operators significantly. CONSTITUTION:A core 21 is arranged at a lower part in a pressure vessel 20 of a nuclear reactor. The core 21 is so formed to hold a core support plate and an upper grill plate 27 and a fuel assembly 22 is wrapped entirely with a shroud 24. A long-sized cylindrical separator 29 is provided on a shroud head 25 at the upper art of the shroud 24 through a stand pipe 28. An upper control rod drive mechanism 33 is provided above the separator 29 through a control rod drive mechanism anchor base 31. A jet pump 36 is disposed between the pressure vessel 20 of the reactor and the shroud 24. The jet pump 36 is connected to a water supply pipe 37 for supplying a coolant.
