METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONNECTING FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT TO INK JET PEN

PURPOSE: To attach a flexible circuit provided with conductive trace to an ink-jet pen so that it does not peel from the ink-jet pen. CONSTITUTION: A flexible circuit 22 provided with conductive trace is attached to a print head 24 of an ink-jet pen 20 by caulking. The flexible circuit 22 is attached so that it surrounds the print head 24, and a cap to block a nozzle of the print head 24 is installed for this flexible circuit 22 with a flat surface. The flexible circuit 22 is difficult to peel from the ink-jet pen by the caulking, and ink leakage and evaporation of ink are prevented by the cap installed in the flexible circuit.
