PURPOSE: To obtain an elastic joint having a gap and a high filtering capacity by disposing a thick elastic layer to cover a shoulder of an internal armature casing (socket) such that the thick layer stops at the edge of a fitting external ring, the thick layer having a specific filtering rigidity with its axial stop function, which makes the axial rigidity progressively greater than the radial rigidity when vibrations exceed a filtering zone. CONSTITUTION: The elastic joint is composed of an external fitting ring 3 with turned in edges 8, an elastic ring 1 made of an elastomer, an internal armature casing 2 supporting shoulders 4 which act on the edges in an axial direction, the shoulders 4 being covered by a thick elastomer layer 7 against the edges of the internal armature casing 2. A stop function in an axial direction is made such that the filtering rigidity is from two to five times lower than the radial rigidity in lateral movement when there is no perpetual axial stress, and the axial rigidity is made progressively greater than the radial rigidity when a filtering zone is exceeded. Thus, an elastic joint having an axial gap controlled by incorporated stops and a high filtering capacity is obtained. |
