<p>PURPOSE:To provide a safe and watertight electric wire connecting device by filling fireproof fillings in a first container and positioning the cut and removed parts of outer sheath and armor of electric wire in a second container. CONSTITUTION:Since fillings 17 which are filled in a first container 6 protects an electric conductor bar 4, an insulating material 3 and metal fittings 15 from fire, they ensure airtightness and watertightness of a penetration section, prevent intrusion of air which contains dangerous gas and water content, and protect connection of the other end of electric conductor bar 4 and a core wire 21 of an electric wire 10 by a connecting fitting 5 from outside air. Also, a second container 8 is provided adjacent to the first container 6 and through fittings 7, 9 are provided in double to prevent intrusion of water or the like into the first container 6. Also, if an other sheath 12 of electric wire 10 is scratched and rainwater or the like enters into the second container 8 along metallic armor 13, the water or the like is prevented by a stop water plate 16 and drops to the bottom of the second container 8. Consequently, water or the like does not enter into the first container 6.</p> |
