PURPOSE: To ensure comfortable temperature for residents by changing at least one parameter, such that the difference between a predicted thermal sensation rating and an actual thermal sensation rating is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A thermal sensation predicting section 52 calculates a value of comfort index V' based on the inputs from an ambient temperature sensor 62, an ambient humidity sensor 64, a wind velocity sensor 66 and a parameter sensor 68 for detecting average radiation temperature in predetermined time sensation. A controller 50 deals with the reaction of residents to current environment, compares a predicted thermal sensation rating V' with an actual thermal sensation rating of the resident, regulates the parameters V' according to the thermal sensation rating of the resident and the environment and then regulates the temperature to increase or decrease in a room 12 through an HVAC(heating, ventilating and air conditioning) system 10, based on the difference between the predicted thermal sensation rating and the actual thermal sensation rating, thus ensuring comfortable temperature in the room. |
