PRODUCTION OF FINE HIGH POLYMER PARTICLE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of fine high polymer particles even when they have small diameters (for example, below 30mum). CONSTITUTION:A polyol resin, a polyisocyanate compound and/or a urethane prepolymer are mixed with a solvent of a water solubility of 1 to below 50wt.%, and the resulting mixture is emulsified in water containing an emulsifier and/or a protective colloid and cured. The solvent remaining in the formed fine particles is extracted with water. In this way, it is possible to produce stably fine high polymer particles of smaller diameters. Further the obtained fine particles have excellent mechanical strengths.
